Send email from your own domain, and run your client pages and your team's workspace on your own web addresses. Three optional pieces, each set up with a handful of DNS records, and each safe to leave half-finished while you get to it.
Appointment reminders, invoices and portal invitations arrive from your own domain with your practice name on them. Set a reply-to address and clients can simply reply, the way they would to any other email from you.
Booking links, invoice payments, the client portal and video call links all sit on a subdomain of your domain. Your existing website stays exactly where it is, untouched.
Your team signs in at your own address, on a screen carrying your practice name and logo. For a group practice, that is the difference between a shared tool and your system.
Practice branding is three separate things: a sending domain for your email, a web address for your client-facing pages, and a web address for the workspace your team signs into. Each is set up on its own and each is optional.
Most practices start with email, because it is the one clients notice most, and add the web addresses later. Doing one does not commit you to the others, and none of them changes how anything works, only whose name is on it.
Everything is a subdomain of your domain, never the root. Your website carries on exactly as it is.
You enter your domain and we show you the exact records to publish. If someone else looks after your DNS, one button emails the records to them, and we detect who hosts your domain and link the right step-by-step guide.
From there it runs itself. We keep re-checking in the background for the first ten minutes and then every night, so if the records go in that afternoon it goes live on its own. You get a notification when it does.
No certificates to buy, install or renew. Those are issued and kept current for you.
Until a domain verifies, every link keeps pointing at your My-Therapy-Suite address. A client is never sent to an address that does not resolve yet, so there is no window where a half-finished setup costs you a booking.
The same applies afterwards. If a DNS record is ever removed or a certificate lapses, links fall back to your My-Therapy-Suite address on their own and we tell you a domain that was live has stopped being served.
You can start the setup, get interrupted, and come back next week. Nothing is left in a broken state.
Each is optional and set up separately. The subdomain in front is the default and can be changed.
| Piece | Example address | What moves to it |
|---|---|---|
| Email domain | mg.yourpractice.co.uk | Everything you send to your clients and your team |
| Client domain | portal.yourpractice.co.uk | Booking, invoice payment, client portal, video call links |
| App domain | app.yourpractice.co.uk | The workspace your team signs into, and its sign-in screen |
Yes, across the three places your clients actually see. You can send email from your own domain, host your client-facing pages such as booking and invoice payment on your own web address, and have your team sign in at your own address on a screen carrying your practice name and logo.
Colours, fonts and page layout are not configurable. This is about whose name and web address your clients see, not a theme editor.
Yes, it is your domain that is used, but on a subdomain of it rather than the root. Your client pages sit at portal.mindwell.co.uk, your team signs in at app.mindwell.co.uk, and your email sends from mg.mindwell.co.uk.
That is deliberate: your existing website keeps working exactly where it is, and nothing you already have on your domain is touched.
You need a few DNS records added at whoever hosts your domain. If that is not you, there is a button that emails the exact records to whoever manages it, and we detect your DNS provider and link the right guide.
Once the records are published there is nothing else to do. We keep checking in the background and it goes live on its own.
They keep using your My-Therapy-Suite address until the domain verifies. A client is never sent to an address that does not work yet, so a half-finished setup cannot cost you a booking or a payment.
Everything you send to your clients and your team: appointment reminders and confirmations, invoices and payment links, portal invitations and document requests.
Emails about your own My-Therapy-Suite account, such as your subscription or your registration, still come from us, because they are from us rather than from your practice.
If you set a reply-to address, yes, and the visible sender says notifications@ your domain. If you do not, the sender says no-reply@ so the address matches reality and a reply bounces rather than disappearing.
No. They are independent and each is optional. Many practices set up the email domain only, since that is the piece clients see most often, and add the web addresses later or not at all.
You can remove any of the three at any time. Links go back to your My-Therapy-Suite address immediately and nothing breaks for clients. The same fallback applies on its own if a DNS record is ever removed or a certificate lapses, and we let you know if a domain that was live stops being served.
Free for 30 days, no card required. Most therapists are taking new bookings the same afternoon they sign up, and cancel any time without writing an email.
